AN API, NOT AN INTERFACE

The shortest path
from event to answer.

Register a site with a private account API token. Customer sites need DNS proof. Send a pageview or a custom event from its HTTPS origin. Ask the API for totals and grouped counts.

The account API creates a site and returns a stable ID.

Send one event.

The public route accepts bounded pageviews and custom events. Optional property labels stay short.

Get a count.

Request totals or group pages, event names, referrers, and allowed property values.

Use a documented HTTP contract. Keep the account token private. The event route checks the site origin; that check does not authenticate a sender.

Site policy controls bounded URL queries, referrer detail, and other new event dimensions. YWG uses client IP and User-Agent transiently for monthly pseudonyms but stores no raw IP, raw User-Agent, or analytics cookies.

Counts within a time range. Pseudonymous visitor and visit estimates report identity coverage.

02Small property labels

Up to eight on a custom event. Do not send personal data in labels or paths.

03Source you can inspect

The server uses AGPLv3. You can read the source and host a version yourself.
